The goal of this eLearning conference is to explore the major functionality changes and additions with Hyper-V version 2 that ships with Windows Server 2008 R2 and explore what those changes mean to your organization. We look at the most significant new capabilities and the guidance needed to implement them in the right way.

  • Gain insight into the internals of Hyper-V and the major changes in version 2

  • Learn how to use technologies to automatically convert physical servers into virtual machines host on Hyper-V

  • Learn about the new Cluster Shared Volumes capabilities that allows concurrent access to LUNs from all nodes in a cluster simultaneously and how the new capability reduces the number of LUNs needed in your environment

  • Learn about the new high availability features in Hyper-V 2 and how the new zero down time Live Migration capability can be used to move virtual machines between servers with no client impact
