A. There's not a right or wrong answer to this question, but there are several advantages to making the Hyper-V servers members of a domain.
You can use Failover Clustering (which requires the hosts to be domain joined).
You can use Kerberos authentication.
Management will be simplified, because you can use domain credentials.
Certain services require the Hyper-V host to be domain joined for virtual machine creation, such as in an automated virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environment.
Unless you have specific security limitations, such as having Hyper-V in a demilitarized zone (DMZ), most organizations will join their hosts into the domain.
