Q: What is the maximum number of SCSI disks supported with Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V?
A: Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V supports up to four SCSI controllers and each SCSI controller supports up to 64 disks. This means each virtual machine (VM) can have up to 256 disks attached via the SCSI bus. For IDE, up to four disks can be connected, two on each of the two IDE controllers.
