Is there any downtime when resizing an Azure gateway

Q. If I resize my Azure gateway from basic to high performance will there be downtime?

A. Yes. A resize from basic to high performance modifies the configuration of the VMs in Azure to an active-active configuration of the VMs in Azure. This requires a rebuild and restart which means there will be an interruption to the connectivity enabled by the gateway. If moving from standard to high performance the interruption is minimal since the VMs are already in an active/active configuration instead of the active/passive used by basic.
