Windows NT "Hydra" to ship in April

The multi-user version of Windows NT 4.0, code-named Hydra and now known asWindows Terminal Server (WTS), will be launched in April along with a groupof Windows Terminals from various vendors. According to group productmanager John Frederickson, WTS "Hydra" will use a proprietary Microsoftprotocol known as Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) to communicate with itsWindows CE-based clients. An add-on from Citrix will allow WTS systems todeal with Macintosh and UNIX clients.

The announcement is expected April 13th
