Windows Marketing Day provides Windows 98 details

At Windows Marketing Day in San Francisco on Thursday, Microsoft told a group of over 500 hardware manufacturers and retailers that it would meetits second quarter delivery date for Windows 98, which is expected to become available on June 25.

At Windows Marketing Day in San Francisco on Thursday, Microsoft told a group of over 500 hardware manufacturers and retailers that it would meetits second quarter delivery date for Windows 98, which is expected to become available on June 25. Microsoft says that companies can begin ordering the product on May 28.

The minimum advertising price for Windows 98 will be $89, which is the sameas Windows 95. Hardware manufacturers will pay approximately $50 for eachcopy of Windows 98 they install on their machines.
