SQL Server 2008 SP4 and SQL Server 2008 R2 SP3 Released
Microsoft has released SQL Server 2008 SP4 and SQL Server 2008 R2 SP3 for all customers with existing SQL Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008 R2 deployments.

Microsoft has released SQL Server 2008 Service Pack 4 (SP4) and SQL Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 3 (SP3). The service packs are available for download on the Microsoft Download Center for all customers with existing SQL Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008 R2 deployments.

Microsoft is not releasing a SQL Server 2008 Express SP4 refresh
Microsoft is not releasing IA64 packages for SQL Server 2008 SP4. For IA64, it's recommded you apply the latest update delivered on SQL Server 2008 SP3
Slipstream technology is not available for SQL Server 2008. To slipstream a SQL Server 2008 with Service Pack 4, please see Creating a merged (slipstreamed) drop containing SQL Server 2008 RTM + Service Pack 1.
