Q: I'm trying to use an AMD FirePro graphics card with Hyper-V for RemoteFX, but don't know which driver to use. What should I do?
A: The best way to find the correct driver is to use the Windows 8.1 64-bit driver; however, you need to make sure you select the correct type of system. Go to the AMD Graphics Drivers and Software page and fill out the details. For example, for a FirePro V5900 I entered:
Type of system: Workstation Graphics
Product family: FirePro 3D Series
Product: FirePro V5900
OS: Windows 8.1 - 64 Bit
The driver installed great on Windows Server 2012 R2 and was available for RemoteFX.
