Thanks to Dale A. Lutz for pointing out that the excellent ZipMagic utilitynow supports Windows NT as well as Windows 95/8. ZipMagic, made by a company called Mijenix, makes your ZIP files look and act just like regularWindows folders. To view the contents of the ZIP, simply open it like anyWindows folder and view the contents in an Explorer-like window. Files inthe ZIP can be opened, viewed, edited, and even run just as if they were ina regular folder.
