Netscape to release Communicator 4.5 on Monday

Officials at Netscape Communications have confirmed that the company willrelease the latest version of its Internet client suite, Communicator 4.5,on Monday. Communicator 4.5 adds multimedia capabilities to the Navigatorbrowser that previously could only be added by downloading plug-ins. Thesuite is also tied to Netscape's Web "portal," Netcenter. Smart Browsingand My Netcenter features push users to the Netcenter Web site where thecompany hopes to cash in on advertising revenue.
