Dallman Ross for the tip: Microsoft has quietly released a newversion of its controversial Windows Media Player, the all-in-one playerthat handles a variety of audio and video formats, including Windows Media(NetShow), Real Audio, Real Video, AVI, MPEG, QuickTime, WAV, and more. Windows Media Player 6.0 can be downloaded (it's about 4 MB) from the CNET Web site.
