Microsoft has released the first service pack for Internet Explorer 4.01, which can be downloaded for free from the Microsoft Web site. IE 4.01 SP1 iscurrently available for Windows 95 and NT 4.0 users. It adds the followingnew features to IE 4.01:

  • Year 2000 fixes

  • Changes requested by specific corporations and Web sites for their intranet and Internet users

  • Fixes for the top issues reported to our product support team

  • Security fixes previously released as patches
