A. The Windows Server 2003 R2 File System Resource Management (FSRM) tool can create reports that show all file screening violations. These reports don't read from the System event log, but rather a special XML file that's written to only if you enable the logging of file screen events. To enable this logging, perform these steps:

  1. Start the Microsoft Management console (MMC) File System Resource Manager snap-in (Start, Programs, Administrative Tools, File Server Resource Manager).

  2. Select File Server Resource Manager (Local) in the left pane and click Configure Options from the Actions pane.

  3. Select the File Screen Audit tab.

  4. Check the "Record file screening activity in auditing database," as the figure shows. Click OK.
