If you've heard about the new Microsoft mice and are wondering why yourplain (and suddenly) old IntelliMouse can't use the universal scrollingfeature, fear no more. Microsoft is providing the IntelliPoint 2.2 softwarethat makes this possible for users of older IntelliMouse and IntelliMouseTrackball devices. The site incorrectly lists the file size as 7 MB--it'sactually 1.2 MB--and the software works on Windows 95/98 and NT 4.0. Ifyou have any kind of IntelliMouse, you should definitely download thisupgrade. Find it at the Microsoft Web site.

And be advised that you must have IntelliPoint 1.1 installed already or beable to provide the original diskette that came with your mouse
