Well, the wait is finally over: Microsoft has released the DirectX 6.0 binaries to its DirectX Web site. There are twoversions to download, the so-called "user" or "core" version, and the fullversion, which includes the DirectX SDK for developers. If you simply wantto play games and don't program DirectX titles yourself, simply grab thecore download and have fun.
