If you receive the subject message, you may have a third party driver that starts when Windows NT starts and conflicts with your printer driver. The Parallel device may also fail to start with:
Event ID: 3 Source: Parallel Type: Error Category: None Description: Not enough memory was available to allocate internal storage needed for the device.
Locate and disable this third-party device driver using Control Panel / Devices / Startup / Disabled. Restart your computer.
The third-party driver will have been installed by one of the software packages you setup since the previous boot.
