If tip 089 doesn't help you resolve your autodial problems and you don't want to use tips 090 / 562, try changing the Start Up of the Remote Access Autodial Manager from automatic to System.

You can do this with Control Panel / Services or in the registry by editing:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SystemCurrentControlSetServicesRasAutoStart

and changing the data value from 2 to a 1.
