A. If you want to export the entire Microsoft Exchange Server Global Address List (GAL) to an export file, you can, but it requires a little extra work. You need an export options file that specifies the correct starting point for the export operation. Here's the file I use to export the GAL from my organization, whose name is RA:

[export]
basepoint=/o=RA
exportobject=mailbox
informationlevel=full
subcontainers=yes

The export file tells Exchange Administrator to start from the organization level and export all information for all mailboxes, including all subcontainers of the organization.
