Creating Custom Reports Using SQL Server Views in ConfigMgr 2012

For the longest time, System Center Configuration Manager customers have had to rely on community participation to understand, create, and utilize custom reports. On the backend, ConfigMgr utilizes WMI to retrieve information for collections and queries, but the SQL views are used for reporting with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

Until now, the creation of custom reports has been left up to the community, but Microsoft has now released actual documentation to help customers learn how to create their own.
