DSC Configuration Frequencies

Q. Is it possible to have different configuration frequencies for PowerShell DSC?

A. PowerShell DSC uses a timer that essentially wakes up PowerShell DSC, checks configuration and reapplies where necessary. This timer is system-wide, and separate timers cannot be used for specific parts of a PowerShell DSC configuration. To configure the timer used on the system see our FAQ.
