SQL Server 7.0 Service Pack 3 (SP3) includes a fix for a problem with transactional replication of updates. Microsoft says that when you choose not to replicate updates (action type = none), SQL Server might still replicate a delete/insert pair of statements as an update if the record's primary key is updated on the publisher. The problem occurs only with transactional replication. For information about how to download and install SP3, see http://support.microsoft.com/view/dev.asp?ID=hl&pg=sql.asp
