How can I check the amount of physical RAM in my machine?

A. There are loads of methods to get this information.
Right click on My Computer and select Properties. The General tab shows theamount of memory
Run WINMSD.EXE and select the Memory tab
From the command line you can use
PSTAT.EXE (part of the resource kit), the first line shows the amount ofRAM
Download MEMORY.EXE fromhttp://www.savilltech.com/download/memory.zipwhich just displays the physical memory and nothing else (you can use the /sswitch and it will only show the number, no other text, this is useful forinformation gathering), e.g.
C:> memory /s
66506752
