Daisy Chain Multiple Monitors to Surface Pro

Q: Can I daisy chain multiple monitors with my Surface Pro computer?

A: To daisy chain monitors with your Surface Pro, the DisplayPort version must be 1.2 or later.

The Surface Pro 2 includes DisplayPort 1.2, allowing daisy chaining of multiple monitors. The Surface Pro 1 does not support DisplayPort 1.2, and therefore doesn't allow the daisy chaining of monitors.
