JSI Tip 5176. 'The certificate store cannot be opened. Published certificates will not be displayed'?

When you attempt to view a user's published certificates in the Active Directory Users and Computerssnap-in, you receive:

The certificate store cannot be opened. Published certificates will not be displayed.

If the user's DN contains special character, like # or ?, you will receive this error.

The only workaround is to NOT use special character when naming a user or an organizational unit, if you must view the user's published certificates in the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in.
