Windows RT Users Get Help Upgrading to Windows RT 8.1

Today, Microsoft is releasing an update to better enable those Windows RT users to have success when upgrading to Windows RT 8.1.

Available through Windows Update, 2973544 fully replaces 2885699, which was released in October 2013 and only provided a notification to update.

The new 2973544 relies on update 2871389 already being installed, but once the combination matches, this new update can be used to automatically start the update process to Windows RT 8.1.

Upgrading to Windows 8.1 has been tough for some, but Microsoft has steadily been providing updates and improvements in the process so that users can finally run the most recent version of Windows.

If you will be taking advantage of this new update, let us know how it goes.
