Windows 8.1 Update 1 Makes the Microsoft Surface TrackPad More Sophisticated

If you've been using a Microsoft Surface for any length of time and regularly use the Type Cover, you know the pain of having to hold down the left-click trackpad button while dragging with a finger on the other hand to move captured objects across the screen.

Touchpads on laptops have offered a double-tap and drag feature forever, it seems. You'd think the Microsoft Surface Pro and Pro 2, which are marketed as business devices, would provide the same functionality.  Fortunately, that feature is coming, further proving that a Microsoft Surface device can replace any business laptop.

When Windows 8.1 Update 1 publicly releases, this function is reportedly part of the update. Windows 8.1 Update 1 is set to release on April 8th through Windows Update.
