System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Support Center Update Released to Fix Bugs

A new version of the System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Support Center (yes, it's a mouthful, for sure) has been released to fix some bugs discovered in the last update. Specifically, there was an issue with performance and usability with the Log Viewer included in the software.

In addition to fixing the Log Viewer integrated in the product, Microsoft has also provided a detachable version of the tool, allowing ConfigMgr administrators to view and parse log files without needing to use the Support Center.

To make this happen, this latest version now requires the .NET Framework 4.5.2 be installed on the computer where either the separate Log Viewer or the full Support Center is running.

The updated download is here: System Center 2012 Configuration Manager Support Center

NOTE: It is required that you uninstall the previous version before installing the update.

Support Center first released in May 2014 after a 3 month open beta. Support Center is a ConfigMgr add-on designed to make troubleshooting client issues easier.
