Staged Update Will Bring Windows Phone 8.1 and Samsung KNOX Support to Windows Intune by End of May
Microsoft has been promising Windows Phone 8.1 and Samsung KNOX support for Windows Intune, and the company has taken today to make the official announcement.

The march to TechEd 2014 continues. As we get closer to Microsoft's conference designed for IT Pros (with a tiny bit of developer thrown in), we'll start to see a lot of new releases filter their way into public view. And, as each new release is made available, we'll get a better idea of what announcements we should prepare for during Brad Anderson's kickoff keynote.
One piece you can add to the list was announced today. Microsoft has been promising Windows Phone 8.1 and Samsung KNOX support for Windows Intune, and the company has taken today to make the official announcement. The new support capabilities will start rolling out today and Microsoft believes the full deployment should finish by May 21, 2014. Those companies with the conduit between the on-premise System Center Configuration Manager and Windows Intune should see the new platform support show up in mid-May sometime.
It might be useful to note that the new support will not fulfill a complete TechEd announcement, but is only making it so a larger announcement can be made. You heard it here first.
