Self-service Lync Troubleshooting and Diagnostics

I latched on to an online location for troubleshooting Windows memory dumps recently, but then found out that Microsoft also offers several DIY services for Lync client and Server troubleshooting and diagnostics.

Just like the Windows memory dump troubleshooter, once initiated, the online Lync services download and execute an application that sifts through and collects pertinent information. Once the collection is complete, the information is uploaded to Microsoft where it is analyzed for potential issues and a report is provided to give direction for resolving problems. You can also request assisted support from the page if the automated service is ultimately no help to you.
