Penton Announces New Cloud/Enterprise Management Conference

IT/Dev Connections 2015 call for sessions just went live this morning, but we have another exiting event tidbit to announce today. Today we're unveiling a brand new technology event called the Cloud/Enterprise Management Conference.

The intent of C/EMC is to provide a destination for business decision makers to learn the truth about the latest technologies. It's not a deep-dive, technical event like the sister conference, IT/Dev Connections, but instead a way for management to get the best education about modern technologies and understand how it might fit (or not fit) within the organization. We've all experienced the horror that comes from CIOs getting misinformation reading in-flight magazines. C/EMC fixes that, giving real-world information and guidance.

And, C/EMC and IT/Dev Connections are developed to go hand-in-hand. Business leaders attend C/EMC to develop plans for technology transformation and then send their IT professionals to IT/Dev Connections to learn how to implement the vision. It's a perfect combination. It seeks to bring management and IT together for a frictionless technology strategy.

Here's the details:

Date: April 21-22nd

Location: TradeWinds Island Resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida

Who Should Attend: Business leaders who make technology decisions within their organization. This would include IT managers, IT Directors, CTOs, CIOs, and other titles.

What Will Attendees Learn: Technology leaders will receive detailed roadmaps critical for planning their organization’s cloud and enterprise management strategy and rolling that strategy out to their teams. The sessions will touch on the following areas:

  • Overviews of Individual cloud and enterprise management capabilities so that attendees are armed with the knowledge to make educated technology decisions

  • An independent perspective regarding how to drive business and revenue by implementing cloud/enterprise management products

  • A detailed look at how to plan their new technology environment

  • How to set the priorities of which products/capabilities are implemented first

  • Information about how to find resellers to work with

  • Advice and training on how to advance their career by enhancing the skills they need to be a dynamic leader in today’s technology landscape

  • How to future proof their environment and their careers

  • How to get their staff (implementers) on board with deploying and maintaining these new technologies

Attendees will leave the Cloud/Enterprise Management Conference with the knowledge to lead the technology transformation within their company. And their staff will then need IT/Dev Connections for in-depth technical training on how to implement these technologies.

There will not be an open call for speakers for this event due to the limited number of speaking slots available. This event will cover all of the major cloud offerings (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
