Microsoft Slashes Azure Pricing Again, Matches and Exceeds Amazon

With last week's announcements from Google and then Amazon about Cloud pricing reductions, the industry waited with bated breath to see if Microsoft would follow suit to fulfill a promise made in April 2013. In the Spring of last year, Microsoft promised that the company would continue to match Amazon's pricing structure for the long haul. For Amazon, this makes over 40 price reductions since the company launched AWS about 8 years ago, ensuring that Microsoft's pricing gun will see a lot of use.
