Free eBook Released on Using Microsoft Azure to Build Cloud Apps

In 14 chapters and 198 pages, 5 different authors collaborated to bring the Building Cloud Apps with Microsoft Azure to life. And, more importantly, one of the contributing authors is none other than Scott Guthrie himself, executive vice president of the Microsoft Cloud and Enterprise group. While the title suggests that the book is designed specifically for developers, it does offer a huge amount of valuable information for IT folks. The subtitle of the book probably says it best: Best practices for DevOps, data storage, high availability.

It does have a developer bent to it, but provides enough solid information for IT Pros to make it worth sifting through in areas like database, single sign-on, blob storage, monitoring, and automation. It also includes best practices in each focus area.
