Last week we told you about the Eve V 2-in-1 device that has been uniquely designed using crowd sourcing to make choices from everything ranging from its form factor to how much memory it should have.

That device, which will be available for pre-order on Indiegogo next month, has had its development funded through a partnership between the Finnish company Eve along with Intel and Microsoft. That means when it hits Indiegogo an actual device is being sold and not a plan to develop one.

The campaign, according to Eve CEO Konstantinos Karatsevidis, is intended to fund the manufacturing of a limited number of devices - to be specific - 500 of them.

While we know some of the details of the device, its origins and its short term future, I am sure there are other questions out there about the Eve V and the companies involved.

Well you will now have your opportunity to ask those questions this Thursday during a Reddit AMA event that will include Eve's CEO and Microsoft's Vesku Paananen, one of the companies Digital Transformation Leads.

Paananen (L) and Karatsevidis (R)

The event is scheduled to begin at 12:30 PM Eastern Time here in the US and you can translate that to your own local time zone using this time zone converter.

The timing on this event comes right after Microsoft's Windows 10 event tomorrow where it is expected they will announce their own new hardware in the Surface line plus more details about the next major update to Windows 10.

There is no reason to believe the two items are even remotely related but I would not be surprised to hear Microsoft mention this small project as an effort to show their willingness to team with other hardware OEMs in developing top end Windows 10 devices.

We of course will be tuning into the AMA and will bring you a summary sometime late on Thursday.

But, wait...there's probably more so be sure to follow me on Twitter and Google+.
