Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit (EMET) is a set of tools and templates that administrators can run against a system that will locate potential vulnerabilities that might already exist. EMET attempts to spot new and undiscovered threats even before updates are available by diverting and blocking commonly known techniques vulnerabilities use against a system.
