Released on Thursday, Cumulative Update 5 (CU5) for Microsoft SQL Server 2014 (wow, are we up to update 5 already?) brings with it some minor new functions for those working with Azure SQL Database.

In addition to a long list of cumulative fixes in CU5, here's an overview of the new functionality the update brings for those working with Azure SQL Database:

Database Property Dialog – you can now view and change service tiers and performance levels.

Object Explorer – new menu items have been added including: Table Designer, Select Top 1000 Rows, Edit Top 200 Rows, Table Properties Dialog and Sequence Dialog, Extend Object Types in Object Explorer, Functions and Stored Procedures, and Open in Management Portal.
