Azure RemoteApp Hits General Availability
Announced at TechEd 2014, Azure RemoteApp has finally reached public availability.

Announced first at TechEd 2014 North America, Azure RemoteApp enables subscribers to install, access, and run company apps in the Cloud. The apps run in the Cloud, but they feel like they are running locally. An Azure RemoteApp client is required to participate, but runs on Windows, Windows RT, Mac OSX, iOS, and Android.
Microsoft promised that Azure RemoteApp GA was coming, and finally pulled back the curtain on Thursday.
Now a publicly available service, Azure RemoteApp has two different pricing options.
Option 1, Basic: $10/user/month for lightweight applications. The pricing is rated for 40 hours a month. Overages cost $0.175/hr with a cap of $17/user/month. Built for "task workers" that need only simple data entry. 50GB of storage.
Option 2, Standard: $15/user/month for productivity applications. The pricing is rated for 40 hours a month. Overages cost $0.20/hr with a cap of $23/user/month. Built for intensive use business workers. 50GB of storage.
To get started, just sign in to your Azure management portal and deploy your first RemoteApp collection to users.
A 30-trail is also available, and with the public release the following, additional features have been added:

Support for Office 365 ProPlus
New performance and scale options
Usage metrics and pricing
Supported Clients include Windows Phone 8.1
