A. In addition to the regular file system quota application that applies a specific quota to a volume or folder, you can assign a quota template to a folder and specify that quotas based on that template be automatically generated and applied to any subfolders of the auto-applied folder (including existing folders, not just new folders). This is particularly useful in the case of a folder containing users' home folders. The auto apply quota would be applied at the root containing the users' home folders, and as home folders are created under the folder, a new quota instance would automatically be created and applied to the new folders as well as to folders that already exist
