When FSRM (File Server Resource Manager) is installed on Windows Server 2003 R2, the Application event log posts a warning similar to:

Event Type: WarningEvent Source: SRMSVCEvent Category: NoneEvent ID: 12317Date: MM/DD/YYYYTime: HH:MM.SSUser: N/AComputer: Description: File Server Resource Manager failed to enumerate share paths or DFS paths. Mappings from local file paths to share and DFS paths may be incomplete or temporarily unavailable. FSRM will retry the operation at a later time. Error-specific details: Error: (0x80070005) Access is denied. Error: (0x80070005) Access is denied. Error: (0x80070005) Access is denied. Error: (0x80070005) Access is denied.

NOTE: Another instance of Error: (0x80070005) Access is denied is added each time the warning is posted.

1. Start / Run / DSA.msc / OK.

2. Expand .

3. Expand Builtin.

4. Right-click Users and press Properties.
