Q. How do I enable the CD Burning service in Windows Server 2003 using built-in commands?

Windows Server 2003 has built-in CD burning, but the IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service is disabled by default.

To enable and start the IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service:

1. Open a CMD.EXE window.

2. Type the following commands, pressing Enter after each line:

sc config imapiservice start= autosc start imapiservice
