You will need the following disk space on your Windows Server 2003 computer to install SP1:

   Install from a share   

   Install from a SP1 CD  

   Service pack

   140 megabytes (MB)

   140 MB

   Stored service pack files

   20 MB at %SystemRoot%ServicepackfilesServicepackcache

   650 MB at %SystemRoot%Servicepackfiles

   Working space

   350 MB

   475 MB

   Uninstall files

   270 MB

   270 MB

   Total space once installed

   430 MB

   825 MB

   Peak usage during installation

   780 MB

   1340 MB
