When you plug a high speed USB 2.0 device into a USB port that does not support high speed, you receive:

A HI-SPEED USB device is plugged into a non-HI-SPEED USB hub.

To disable this message:

1. Start / Run / devmgmt.msc / OK.

2. Expand the Universal Serial Bus Controllers.

3. Double-click a host controller that has the word Universal or Open in its' title.

4. Select the Advanced tab.

5. Check the Don't tell me about USB errors box.

6. Press OK.

7. Close Device Manager.

NOTE: When you check the Don't tell me about USB errors box, all USB error messages are disabled.
