After you apply SP3 (Service Pack 3) on your Windows 2000 Datacenter Server, running the SFC utility produces event log entries similar to:

Date: Source: Windows File ProtectionTime: Category: NoneType: InformationEvent ID: 64021User: N/AComputer: Description: The system file c:winntsystem32wuaucpl.cpl could not be copied into the DLL cache. The specific error code is 0xe0000102. This file is necessary to maintain system stability.Date: Source: Windows File ProtectionTime: Category: NoneType: InformationEvent ID: 64021User: N/AComputer: Description: The system file c:winntsystem32qmgrprxy.dll could not be copied into the DLL cache. The specific error code is 0xe0000102. These files are associated with the Automatic Updates feature of Windows 2000. These files are NOT installed by default on a Datacenter server and you certainly wouldn't want an automatic update to bypass the Change Control feature.

NOTES:

Qmgr.dll is the Background Intelligent Transfer Service and queue manager.Qmgrprxy.dll is the BITS proxy.Wuaucpl.cpl is the Automatic Updates Control Panel applet.
