A. Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 have a new event-log model. It consists of a number of log types, and the analytic and debug type logs aren’t displayed by default. To view these logs, you need to enable the capability through the View, Show Analytic and Debug Logs action. In Event Viewer, select the Winlogon folder and the Diagnostic file in the center navigation pane. Under Actions, in the right navigation pane, right-click Diagnostic and select "Show Analytic and Debug Logs."
