Q. How can I get universal applications on my Windows Server 2016 session host?
A. Server with Desktop Experience uses the Long Term Servicing Branch (LTSB) model and does not have the Window Store which is the common way to deploy universal applications. Session hosts utilize the Server with Desktop Experience deployment mode. If you want universal applications deployed then you can side load them to the host using Windows Store for Business.
