Can you switch from a full installation of Windows Server 2008 to the Core version?

A. Although it would be nice to install the full version of Windows 2008, use the GUI to configure the server, then remove all the extra parts to make the installation Core-only, this isn’t possible. You must make the choice of Full or Core at installation time
