Xbox One Game Previews Coming to Windows 10

This week is gamescon 2016 in Germany.

It is the biggest gaming event across Europe and Microsoft has a booth over there this week and although they are not holding a big presser like they do at E3 they did share some news for gamers before the show kicked off.

Aaron Greenberg, the General Manager of Microsoft's Games Market at Xbox, spoke with press, influencers and fans at the Xbox booth to share a review of the year so far and what is coming down the road.

He mentioned E3 and some of the announcements they made there including the the new Xbox One S hardware and ID@Xbox reaching its third anniversary and the fact it now involves more than 1,000 developers across 60 countries who have released over 300 titles to Xbox One and Windows 10.

According to Chris Charla, Director of ID@Xbox, developers in the ID@Xbox program have an option on Xbox One to make their games available to players for purchase on the console during key development phases of the game in order to collect feedback.

"I’m super happy that we’re enabling PC gamers to preview and purchase work-in-progress digital titles, participate in the development process and help developers make Windows 10 games the best they can be. We’ll have lots more games to talk about in Game Preview for Windows 10 soon."

Game Preview will come to Windows 10 PCs later this year and its lead off title is called Everspace.

By the way, before you think these are cheesy 8 bit graphics kind of games just take a look at this first in game footage of Everspace.

If the game is in the right genre and has amazing graphics like this I am more than willing to pay for early access to the game and help with its movement towards final release.

Once you buy the title in Game Preview it will always be in your library and available.
