Q. How do I use the Game Bar in Windows 10?

A. Windows 10 includes a new game bar that makes it easy to record clips of games and screenshots. The bar is opened by pressing the Win + G combination and when starting an application that Windows 10 knows is a game will remind you that the game bar can be used as shown.

Once you press Win + G the game bar is displayed that enables you to perform various actions such as screen shot, screen record. There are also settings to auto record and make a certain amount of time always available (for when you do something cool to make sure its captured).

If you record something the recording time is shown in the top right and click the record button again to stop the recording.

Game clips are available in the XBOX application which can be launched from the game bar or though the Start menu. The videos are stored in folder VideosCaptures by default.

If you press Win + G that is not a known game you will be prompted if the application is a game and a confirmation if you really want to open the game bar.
