Patch Tuesday: Windows 10 Gets an October 13th Cumulative Update to Bolster Security

Just because Microsoft touts Windows 10 as the most secure version of Windows ever doesn’t mean that its latest OS won’t ever need some buttoning down.

In addition to the six updates ready for installation today as part of Patch Tuesday (read about them HERE), Microsoft is also providing a cumulative update for Windows 10 so that Windows 10 customers can also be protected against the latest, publicly reported flaws. The interesting thing about this cumulative update, though, is that four of the six bulletins released today affect Windows 10. A fifth flaw included in this month’s cumulative update is from September.
