Windows 10's Start Screen is a much better rendition of what was offered in Windows 8.1. It's similar, but a lot of work has been accomplished to make it more intuitive, customizable, and able to work better with a mouse. You can drag-and-drop new tiles to the Start Screen, move the tiles around, and make it function better for your daily needs.
But, even more than that, the new Start Screen allows you to group tiles in sections. And, once you get the sections just right, you can give each section a title.
To do this…
With the Start Screen expanded (tap or click the Start button), locate the section for which you want to give a title.
Click or tap the area right above the section and then give it a name.
That's it!
You're now on your way to becoming a master of the Windows 10 Start Screen and beginning to organize Windows 10 for a personal experience.
Additionally, on each titled section, you can tap or click and then hold for a few seconds and drag the entire tile group anywhere you want on the Start Screen, enabling you to further customize what you see when the Start Screen opens.
