How do I get rid of the full screen Start screen in Windows 10

Q. Even when I exit tablet mode on Windows 10 I still have a full screen Start menu instead of a menu in the corner.  How do i fix this?

A. To change from a full screen Start menu to a regular menu perform the following:

  1. Open Settings

  2. Select Personalization

  3. Select the Start section

  4. Turn off the Use Start full screen option

  5. Also note other options such as showing most used and recently added applications. You can also configure the folders that appear on the Start menu.

Once the change is made you can resize it by moving the cursor to the edge of the menu and making it bigger or smaller.
